Are you a "Slicker?"

Thank goodness for popsicles. I love popsicles, especially lemon, orange or mango flavored. Fruit popsicles are tangy and make your mouth water. I don’t need hot weather to eat a Popsicle. Whenever I have a severe sweet tooth, that citrus burst will usually cure it immediately. Sometimes around 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon a Popsicle is equivalent to a cup of coffee. It’s that afternoon jolt to get you through to dinner.

What kind of Popsicle eater are you? Are you a Slicker or a Biter? Because I often eat popsicles my older son commented that I am a “Biter.’ He always asks why I bite my Popsicles because they tend to disappear quickly. I said, I don’t know. I didn’t even realize I was a biter. My son on the other hand, tends to suck and/or lick the Popsicle so I told him he was a “slicker.” I have two sons. I tested them. My older son is a slicker. My younger son is a biter. As a slicker, only small chards of delicious mouth watering Popsicle are dislodged. How can he stand that delayed gratification? As a biter, I get mouthfuls of sweet tang.

In rare instances I guess it is possible to be both a biter and a slicker. Maybe you start out as a slicker and then just start biting. What does that say about you? No matter how you eat your Popsicle, it sure is delicious and it doesn’t last long enough.
